Terms & Conditions

All pupils must be in possession of a current provisional, International or full driving licence on commencement of training.
Direct Pass Driving School accepts payment either by cash or bank transfer, Payment should be presented at the start of each lesson, except for block bookings or by prior arrangement which should be made at the beginning of the first lesson.
Any payments made upfront including block bookings are non refundable, If you fail to complete your block booking hours within 6 months from the date of making booking, any remaining hours will be lost.
Direct Pass Driving School reserves the right to charge for lessons not cancelled within 24 hours of the planned lesson time. Exceptions to this rule are at the discretion of the Instructor.
24 hours notice of cancellation must be given at all times by phone,  text or a charge will be applied.
If the instructor cancels the lesson due to illness, mechanical fault or unforeseen circumstances without the instructor's control, another time will be offered either for the same day, or for an alternative date and time, suitable to both parties. If no alternative date and time within the same week can be arranged, a lesson will be arranged for the following week.
The instructor cannot be held responsible for cancelled lessons due to bad weather. But you are not going to be charged.
In the event that the pupil does not show for the lesson, the instructor will wait for 15 minutes before leaving. The lesson will then be presumed cancelled and the pupil must pay for the lesson.
The instructor is not responsible for tests cancelled by the DSA due to strike action, road conditions in bad weather, or staff sickness or for any other reason. You will still have to pay the full test fee. Your instructor will advise you as to whether, and how, to claim compensation from the DSA.
If a pupil fails to take regular lessons between a test being booked and the test date the instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of the learner vehicle for driving test purposes.
In the unlikely event that the pupil books their own test, the instructor must be notified of the date and time of any tests at least 14 days prior to the test date to ensure that the Instructors vehicle is available for the test and to avoid the risk of double-bookings.
The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the use of the learner vehicle for driving test if the instructor deems that the pupil is not yet ready for the test and it would, therefore, be unsafe for the pupil, examiner or other road users if he/she were to sit their test at that time.

Direct Pass Driving School accepts no liability for personal property that is left in the tuition vehicle however the instructor will return any items at the earliest opportunity.
Any pupil may be refused a driving lesson if the Instructor has reason to believe that the pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the lesson will still be charged for at the full amount.
The price of lessons that have not been pre-paid may be changed at any time. You will receive prior notice of any price increases.
